I tread the winding roads of life,
with a light heart and avoiding strife.
I reel in my joy and worries I keep,
repose at an oasis and over hurdles leap.
But in my solitude I am never distraught,
for I whistle away my dreary thought.
bars and notes dance upon the theme,
as lips my issue winds like radiant sunbeam.
For they enlighten the land of dark thought,
and bear away what clouds weariness had wrought.
Courage peace sorrow and emotions gay,
they all find a haven in the whistles I play.
So the breath of delight I pipe to glee,
to find my SELF much closer to me.
